Pedro Miguel Carvalho Deus Correia ( ar, بيدرو ميغيل كارفاليو ديوس كورييا; born 6 August 1990), known as Ró-Ró ( ar, رُو رُو), is a professional footballer who plays for Al Sadd SC and the Qatar national team as a right-back or a central defender. Having played lower-league football in Portugal, he appeared for Al Ahli and Al Sadd in the Qatar Stars League after arriving in the country in January 2011. He won several honours with the latter, including three league titles. Born in Portugal, Ró-Ró represented Cape Verde and Qatar at under-21 and senior levels, respectively. He was part of the squads at the 2019 Asian Cup, 2019 Copa América, 2021 Gold Cup and 2022 World Cup, winning the first of those tournaments. Qatar National Football Team
The Qatar national football team ( ar, منتخب قطر لكرة القدم) represents Qatar in international football, and is controlled by the Qatar Football Association and AFC. The team has appeared in ten Asian Cup tournaments and won it once in 2019, beating Japan, Saudi Arabia, and South Korea in the process, conceding just one goal. They play their home games at Khalifa International Stadium and Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium. The latter is considered the home stadium for the team. 2019 AFC Asian Cup Squads
The 2019 AFC Asian Cup was an international football tournament that was held in the United Arab Emirates from 5 January to 1 February 2019. The 24 national teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad with a minimum of 18 players and a maximum of 23 players, at least three of whom must be goalkeepers. Only players in these squads were eligible to take part in the tournament. Before announcing their final squads, several teams named a provisional squad of 18 to 50 players; each country's final squad had to be submitted at least ten days prior to the first match of the tournament. Replacement of players was permitted until six hours before the team's first Asian Cup game. The AFC published the final lists with squad numbers on 27 December 2018. Al Sadd Sports Club ( ar, نادي السد الرياضي, lit=Dam Sports Club) is a Qatari sports club based in the Al Sadd district of the city of Doha. It is best known for its association football team, which competes in the top level of Qatari football, the Qatar Stars League. 2021 FIFA Arab Cup Squads
The 2021 FIFA Arab Cup is an international football tournament held in Qatar from 30 November to 18 December 2021. The 16 national teams involved in the tournament are required to register a squad of 23 players, including three goalkeepers, selected from an initial provisional list of 35 players. The Terceira Divisão Portuguesa (in English: ''Portuguese Third Division'') was a football league in Portugal, situated at the fourth level of the Portuguese football league system. 2019 AFC Asian Cup
The 2019 AFC Asian Cup was the 17th edition of the AFC Asian Cup, the quadrennial international men's football championship of Asia organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). It was held in the United Arab Emirates from 5 January to 1 February 2019. For the first time, the Asian Cup final tournament was contested by 24 teams, having been expanded from the 16-team format that was used from 2004 to 2015. Under this new format, the finalists would contest a group stage consisting of six groups of four teams, followed by a knockout stage of 16 teams.
