Ryan Miller (baseball)
Ryan Robert Miller (born March 28, 1996) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Detroit Tigers organization. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Los Angeles Angels. He made his MLB debut in 2024. Career Miller graduated from Venice High School in Venice, Florida, and played college baseball at State College of Florida and Clemson University. Arizona Diamondbacks The Arizona Diamondbacks drafted Miller in the sixth round, with the 189th overall selection, of the 2018 Major League Baseball draft. He made his professional debut with the rookie–level Hillsboro Hops, logging a 3.86 ERA in 12 games. Miller spent the 2019 campaign with the Single–A Kane County Cougars, logging a 4–6 record and 3.62 ERA with 36 strikeouts over 27 appearances out of the bullpen. The Portland Sea Dogs are a Minor League Baseball team based in Portland, Maine, playing in the Eastern League (1938–present), Eastern League. In baseball, a save ( SV or S) is credited to a pitcher who finishes a game for the winning team under certain circumstances.
