Ryan Gentles (music Manager)
Ryan Michael Gentles (born November 28, 1977) is an American Talent manager, music manager and the CEO of Wiz Kid Management. He is best known as the longtime manager of the New York City-based band The Strokes, whom he managed from 2000 until 2020. Career Gentles began his career in the music industry as a musician; he was the vocalist and guitarist in the band Timmsie's First Time which broke up in 1995 and then The Selzers, which broke up in 2000. Matthew Romano, The Strokes' drum technician and back-up drummer, was also in both bands, playing drums. While in school, Gentles interned for future Strokes publicist Jim Merlis at Geffen Records and New York music venue Mercury Lounge. After graduating in 1999, he was hired by Mercury Lounge and shortly became their booker. Nick Valensi
Nicholas Valensi (born January 16, 1981) is an American musician, best known for his role as lead and rhythm guitarist in the American rock band The Strokes. Since 2001, the band has released six studio albums, some of which Valensi has also contributed keyboards and backing vocals to. In 2013, Valensi founded the band CRX, for which he acts as singer, songwriter, and lead and rhythm guitarist. Their debut album, '' New Skin'', was released in 2016, and was followed by the 2019 album ''Peek''. Nightbox
Nightbox were a dance-punk band originally from Wicklow, Ireland. The five-piece consisted of Toronto-born brothers Jacob Alexander (Vocals) and Nicolas Amadeus (Drums), and Irishmen Andrew Keyes (Bass), James Tebbitt (Lead Guitar) and James Shelly (Synthesizers). The band recorded their self-titled debut EP (released February 2011), produced by MSTRKRFT's Al-P and Death From Above 1979's Sebastien Grainger. Albert Louis Hammond Jr. (born Albert Louis Hammond III; April 9, 1980) is an American musician who is a member of the rock band The Strokes. He is best known for his role as rhythm and lead guitarist, as well as occasionally a keyboard player and backing vocalist for the band. Hammond has released extensive solo work, including five solo albums. Born in Los Angeles, Hammond is a first-generation American, his father the songwriter Albert Hammond being of British-Gibraltarians, Gibraltarian descent, and his mother being of Argentines, Argentine descent. He attended the same Swiss boarding school as his bandmate Julian Casablancas, where the two became friends. Hinds is a Spanish indie rock band from Madrid, formed in 2011. The group currently performs as a duo consisting of Carlotta Cosials (vocals, guitar) and Ana García Perrote (vocals, guitar). The original name of the band was Deers, but they changed it at the end of 2014 after a threat of legal action from the similarly named band The Dears.
