Ryan Browne (born August 19, 2003) is an American football quarterback for the Purdue Boilermakers. Early life Browne attended Venice High School in Venice, Florida. As a senior, he was named the 8A Player of the Year after passing for 2,636 yards and 31 touchdowns while adding 534 yards and eight touchdowns. He committed to Purdue University to play college football. He attended Milford Academy in New Berlin, New York for a year after graduating high school and threw for 2,931 yards and 29 touchdowns. College career Purdue Browne appeared in one game as a true freshman at Purdue in 2023, completing 12 of 16 passes for 104 yards while rushing 21 times for 85 yards. The 2024 Purdue Boilermakers football team represented Purdue University as a member of the Big Ten Conference during the 2024 NCAA Division I FBS football season. Venice High School is a secondary school located in Venice, Florida for grades 9–12. History Venice High School was built in the late 1940s in Venice, Florida. The high school (grades 9–12) opened in 1956 with John E. Davis as its first principal. Venice Junior High (grades 6–8) opened sometime in 1959 when the student body outgrew the high school. Guy Rose was the first Vice Principal under Davis in charge of the Junior High. The original buildings remained unchanged until 2012, when the high school and junior high were demolished (the original gymnasium and Powell–Davis Stadium remained) to build the existing facility.
