Ruby (2012 TV Series)
''Ruby'' is an Arab dramatic series and a remake of the 2004 Mexican version produced by Televisa and written by Yolanda Vargas Dulche. It was produced in 2012 and aired on MBC1 and Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation. Plot Ruby is a young, ambitious Lebanese woman who falls in love with a Syrian doctor but marries his Egyptian friend who is also her friend's fiancé. Ruby left her Syrian boyfriend simply because his Egyptian friend was a millionaire, and she fell for his money. Therefore, she breaks both her friend's heart and that of her lover. And then she undergoes the consequences of her mistake by committing a series other mistakes. When married to the millionaire, she makes his life miserable. At the end, he takes his revenge on her and makes her return poorer than she originally was. Yolanda Vargas Dulché
Yolanda Vargas Dulché de la Parra (; July 18, 1926, Mexico City) – August 8, 1999, Mexico City) was a List of Mexican writers, Mexican writer principally known for the creation of the comic book character of Memín Pinguín and various telenovelas for Mexican television. She began her writing career as a way to supplement income for several newspapers, creating Memín Penguín in 1943. By 1960, she has successfully published a number of comic books, encouraging her husband, Guillermo de la Parra, to write as well. The two went on to create various successful telenovelas including ''Rubí'', which has been redone for both television and film. In total Varga Dulché published over sixty titles in both Mexico and abroad. ''Rubí'' was published between 1963 and 1964 in the Romance comics, romance comic book ''Lágrimas, Risas y Amor''. Zaki Fatin Abdel Wahab (; 18 February 1961 – 20 March 2022) was an Egyptian actor and film director. Biography The son of the singer and actress Leila Mourad and film director Fatin Abdel Wahab was born on 18 February 1961. He graduated from the Directing Department of the Cairo Higher Institute of Cinema in 1983. He worked as a second assistant director in the movie People on the Top (1981) and as an assistant director in many Youssef Chahine's films, including The Sixth Day (1986), in which he made his debut as an actor. In 1996, Zaki directed his feature film "Romantica", which was a biography of his life. Personal life Zaki married actress Soad Hosny, after she separated from the film director Ali Badrakhan. However, they separated after only a few months of marriage, and Zaki stated in more than one interview that the reason was his mother's opposition. Mohamed Ezzat Ahmed Shafiq Abou Aouf (; 21 August 1948 – 1 July 2019) was an Egyptian actor and composer. Abou Aouf obtained his bachelor's degree in medicine. He was a member of the rock band '' Les Petits Chats''. He later joined ''Black Coats'', and in the late seventies founded ''The Four'' ''M''. He debuted in 1992 in ''Ice Cream in Gleam (Ays Krim fi Glym)'' with Egyptian singer Amr Diab, starring in more than 100 films over the course of his career.
