Ruben Hyppolite II
Ruben Hyppolite II (born September 16, 2001) is an American professional football linebacker for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Maryland Terrapins and was selected by the Bears in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL draft. Early life Hyppolite grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He first attended American Heritage School in Plantation, where he played football and won two state championships. He then transferred to McArthur High School so that he would be able to graduate early (he was unable to at American Heritage, a private school). After playing at McArthur, Hyppolite was ranked a four-star prospect and one of the top-25 linebackers nationally. He was invited to the International Bowl as a member of the U.S. national team. Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and typically line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and so back up the defensive linemen.
