Dale "Chip" Rosenbloom (born July 3, 1964) is an American filmmaker, known for '' Shiloh'', '' Across the Tracks'', and ''Fuel''. He has produced twenty-five films and television movies. He was the co-owner and vice chairman of the Los Angeles Rams professional football franchise. From 2008 to 2010 he was the team's controlling owner, having inherited control of the team his family first acquired in the 1970s. Dale Carroll Rosenbloom (March 5, 1907 – April 2, 1979) was an American businessman. He was the owner of two National Football League franchises; he was the first owner of the Baltimore Colts, and later switched teams, taking ownership of the Los Angeles Rams in 1972. During his stewardship of both franchises, Rosenbloom amassed the best ownership winning percentage in league history (.660), a total regular season record of 226 wins, 116 losses, and 8 ties, as well as 3 NFL championships ( 1958, 1959, 1968), and one Super Bowl ( V). Rosenbloom has been described as the NFL's first modern owner and the first players' owner. He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Film Editing and the American Cinema Editors "Eddie" for '' The Insider'' (1999). Max Everitt Rosenbloom (November 6, 1906 – March 6, 1976) was an American professional boxer, actor, and television personality. Nicknamed "Slapsie Maxie", he was inducted into '' The Ring's'' Boxing Hall of Fame in 1972, the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in 1984, the World Boxing Hall of Fame in 1985, and the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1993. "Cortege for Rosenbloom" is a poem from Wallace Stevens's first book, ''Harmonium''. First published in 1921, it is in the public domain in the United States and similar jurisdictions. Interpretation A letter written by Stevens in 1921 includes a commentary on this poem; he alludes therein to one Miss Fowler at Tufts College who wrote a letter to the editor of a collection of poetry that included ''Rosenbloom''. Her letter left Stevens uncertain whether she was looking for exegesis or an apology for the editor's choice of the poem.
