Rose Hu (Victim Of Communism)
Rose Qingyang Hu ( zh, t=胡清阳, p=Hú Qīngyáng) is an electrical engineer who is currently a professor and the Department Head of the Virginia Tech Bradley Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering. Her research involves wireless networks and their applications in edge computing and the internet of things. Education and career Hu studied electrical engineering at the University of Science and Technology of China, graduating in 1992. After a 1995 master's degree from the Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute (now the New York University Tandon School of Engineering), she completed a Ph.D. in 1998 at the University of Kansas.
