Latin liturgical rites, or Western liturgical rites, are Catholic rites of public worship employed by the Latin Church, the largest particular church '' sui iuris'' of the Catholic Church, that originated in Europe where the Latin language once dominated. Jorge Enrique Jiménez Carvajal C.J.M. (born 29 March 1942) is a Colombian prelate of the Catholic Church who was archbishop of Cartagena in from 2008 to 2021.
