Sylvester Tung Kiem San
Silvester San is a bishop in Denpasar, Indonesia, since 2008. Biography San Silvester was born in Mauponggo, Nagekeo Regency, Flores, on August 14, 1961. He was the son of Roben Robo (father) and Katharina No'o Nore (mother). He graduated from the SDK Maukeli, Seminary High St. John Berkmans Todabelu Mataloko Ngada (SMP-SMA), Philosophy of Catholic High School (STFK) Ledalero Maumere, and was ordained a priest of the archdiocese of Ende on July 29, 1988 by Msgr. Donatus Djagom, SVD, Archbishop of Ende. After his ordination as a priest, he was assigned as assistant parish priest of the Holy Spirit, and taught at the Mataloko Todabelu seminary. Hubertus Leteng
Hubertus Leteng (; 1 January 1959 – 31 July 2022) was an Indonesian Roman Catholic bishop. He served as the Bishop of Ruteng from 2010 to October 2017, when he resigned amidst scandals involving allegations of theft and of having a mistress. Before being named a bishop, he worked as a lecturer at a local seminary. Leteng was born in Ruteng, on the western part of Flores island in East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. He attended both high school and college seminary at St. Pius XII Seminary, graduating in 1979. From 1982 to 1984, he continued his studies at Ledalero Catholic College of Philosophy in Maumere. He returned to St. Pius for three more years and was ordained to the priesthood in 1988. Between 1992 and 1996 he completed his doctoral studies at the Pontifical Theological Faculty Teresianum in Rome, Italy. Eduardus Sangsun
Eduardus Sangsun (June 14, 1943 – October 13, 2008) was the Indonesian third bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Ruteng from 1984 until his death in 2008. The Diocese of Ruteng is based in the city of Ruteng on the western part of Flores island. Biography Sangsun was born in Karot, Manggarai district, Flores, in the present-day nation of Indonesia on June 14, 1943. He was ordained a Roman Catholic priest on July 12, 1972. Pope John Paul II appointed Sangsun as only the third bishop of Ruteng in 1984. Sangsun was formally ordained to bishop on March 25, 1985. He would remain bishop for over two decades. Sangsun learned he had heart disease in April 2008 when he travelled to Singapore for a medical checkup. He flew to Rome and the Vatican in September 2008 to take part in the vow-taking ceremony of Dominican nuns. He was hospitalized while in Rome. The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Ende ( la, Archidioecesis Endehena) is a Latin metropolitan archdiocese in the Lesser Sunda Islands, Indonesia. Its cathedral is the Christ the King Cathedral in the city of Ende, Nusa Tenggara Timur. History The archdiocese was established on 16 September 1913 as Apostolic Prefecture of Lesser Sunda Islands, on territory split from what was then Apostolic Vicariate of Batavia (now Archdiocese of Jakarta, then covering the Dutch East Indies). An ecclesiastical province is one of the basic forms of jurisdiction in Christian Churches with traditional hierarchical structure, including Western Christianity and Eastern Christianity.
