Cathedral Basilica Of Our Lady Of Assumption, Mariana
The Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of Assumption (), also called in Portuguese Catedral da Sé de Mariana, is a Catholic cathedral-basilica, the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Mariana, Archdiocese of Mariana. It is located in the state of Minas Gerais, in the city of Mariana, Minas Gerais, Mariana, Brazil. It is dedicated to Our Lady of the Assumption. The current parish of Our Lady of the Assumption was founded in 1704 and at that time was dedicated to the Virgin Mary, a time when the only temple Camp Ribeirão Carmo was the Chapel of the Virgin. A small chapel made of mudbrick was then erected by the Portuguese miner António Pereira Machado. Work on the current church began in 1711, when Governor Antonio de Albuquerque declared the camp to be a town. Therefore, the church received a dedication to the Virgin. Itabirito
Itabirito is a Municipalities of Brazil, municipality in the Minas Gerais state of Brazil. Its population is estimated to have 52,446 people in 2020. Conselheiro Lafaiete
Conselheiro Lafaiete is a city of the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. It was known as Queluz until 1934, when it was renamed by decree, as a tribute to Counselor Lafayette Rodrigues Pereira. It is situated 96 km south from Belo Horizonte, capital of Minas Gerais, in one of the most important economic areas of Brazil. The population was 129,606 inhabitants, in 2020. Desterro do Melo is a Brazilian municipality located in the south of the state of Minas Gerais. Overview Its population in 2020 was 2,884 people in a total area of 142 km².
