Roine Jansson is a Swedish artist and illustrator. His work focuses on modern mine workers, mining in Northern Europe, and the trade workers movement in the EU. Education and career Jansson was born on November 11, 1952, in Uppsala and currently lives in Österbybruk, Sweden. He studied Art at Uppsala University, Uppsala Sweden, and sculpture at Konstfack. He has worked as an iron miner and is currently a firefighter. He has been painting since the early 1970s and has created public art for the cities of Stockholm, Uppsala, and Österbybruk. In his work he uses a variety of mediums and techniques, such as charcoal, oil, watercolor, Fresco-secco Fresco-secco (or a secco or fresco finto) is a wall painting technique where pigments mixed with an organic binder and/or lime are applied onto a dry plaster. Roine Stolt
Roine Stolt (born 5 September 1956) is a Swedish guitarist, vocalist and composer. A major figure in Sweden's rock history, Stolt led two of his country's most successful progressive rock bands: Kaipa in the 1970s and The Flower Kings in the 1990s onward. Biography Stolt started his career in the late 1960s playing bass guitar in local rock bands. He switched to guitar in 1973 and in the brief sojourn with Allman Brothers-influenced Orexis. In 1974 he became the guitarist in Kaipa, a professional progressive rock band, he was 17 years old at that time, the group made three successful albums and toured more than 100 gigs a year, including national TV and radio performances in Scandinavia. In 1979 he left Kaipa to form his own group Fantasia and made two albums. The group split up in 1983 and Stolt started working as a solo and session musician, arranger and producer. Eila Orvokki Roine (born 26 November 1931 in Turku) is a Finnish actress. She worked for Tampereen Työväen Teatteri from 1951 until her retirement in 1994. On television Eila Roine is best known for her role as Kaija in a television series ''Heikki ja Kaija'' (1961–1971) in which she played opposite her husband, Vili Auvinen (1931–1996). She has also appeared in ''Rintamäkeläiset'' (1974) and in a teen series ''Pertsa ja Kilu'' (1975–1976), directed by Auvinen. Jules Édouard Roiné (Nantes, October 24, 1857 – April 11, 1916), was an exemplary French-American sculptor and master medal engraver of his era. He was a student of Léopold Morice, renowned sculptor who completed the bas relief over the principal door at St. Etienne in Tours and the monument statue Republique (Marianne) at the Place de la Republique in Paris. Between 1881 and 1894, Roiné spent time in New York City where he participated in the decoration of several churches. Returning to France with an intriguing skill in medal work, Roiné created L'Aurore du XXieme Siècle (Dawn of the Twentieth Century), a distinguished piece that would be honored by the French government. Siri Røine (born 1957) is a Norwegian civil servant. She was born in Oslo, and took education as a dental hygienist and jurist.
