Roger Wilson (rugby Union)
Roger Wilson (born 21 September 1981) is an Irish former rugby union player, who played at number eight for Ulster Rugby, Ulster, Northampton Saints and Ireland national rugby union team, Ireland. Since retiring in 2017, he has worked in the United States, coaching American football players in rugby tackling techniques. Career Club Despite a one-time interest in a football career, Wilson played school rugby at RBAI and was a member of the 1998 and 2000 schools cup winning teams. After being spotted during his time at Trinity College, following a third division game, Wilson signed his first professional contract with Ulster. He held down a regular starting spot in the Ulster XV after his debut in September 2003 against the Ospreys, aged 21, and claimed the Ulster Player of the Year Award for the 2003–04 and 2006-07 seasons. Line-out (rugby Union)
A line-out or lineout is a means by which, in rugby union, play is restarted after the ball has gone into touch (rugby), touch. When the ball goes out of the field of play, the opposing team is normally awarded a line-out; the exception is after the ball is kicked into Touch (rugby), touch from a penalty (rugby union), penalty kick, when the team that was awarded the penalty throws into the line-out. In 2021 World Rugby began trialling what was dubbed the "50:22" (or "50–22") rule, wherein the kicking team has the throw-in if the ball travels from the kicker's half and bounces beyond the opposing 22-metre line. This was inspired by rugby league's 40/20 kick. A line-out is formed by players from each team lining up inside the touchline, at 90° to it. 2016-17 Ulster Rugby Season
16-17 is a band from Basel, Switzerland. Their music combines punk rock, hardcore punk, jazz and industrial music. Biography 16-17 was founded in 1983 by Alex Buess, Knut Remond and Markus Kneubühler. When the group played its first concerts in 1983 it was received with controversial reactions: there were hardly any groups that played in an approximately similar style. Only some years later around 1986 groups like Painkiller, Last Exit or The Flying Luttenbachers appeared . Alistair Richard McKibbin (born 13 January 1958) is a former Ireland rugby union international from Northern Ireland. Henry Roger McKibbin CBE (13 July 1915 – 3 September 2001) was an Ireland rugby union international from Northern Ireland who became a prominent rugby administrator. Biography McKibbin, born in Belfast, was an elder brother of Ireland forward Des McKibbin. He attended Royal Belfast Academical Institution and was a 1st XV player for four years, captaining the 1934 Ulster Schools' Cup-winning side. A goal-kicking centre, McKibbin played for Queen's University RFC while studying for a legal degree. He featured in two Senior Cup successes with Queen's. In 1938, McKibbin gained the first of his four Ireland caps as a 22-year old in the Home Nations match against Wales in Swansea and then won a place on the British Lions squad for that year's tour to South Africa, where he was the only back that played all three Tests. The Anglo-Welsh Cup (), was a cross-border rugby union knock-out cup competition that featured the 12 Premiership Rugby clubs and the four Welsh regions. It was a created as a replacement for the RFU Knockout Cup, which featured only English clubs. The EPCR Challenge Cup is an annual rugby union competition organised by European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR).
