Roel Clark Campos (born 1949) is an American business lawyer. He served as Securities and Exchange Commissioner between 2002 and 2007. He is now a partner with the law firm Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP. Early life and education Campos earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1979, his M.B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1972, and in 1971 earned his B.S. from the United States Air Force Academy. Career As of 2002, he was general counsel of El Dorado Communications, which he had co-founded in Houston. He served as Securities and Exchange Commissioner (SEC) between 2002 and 2007. Roel Janssen (born 16 June 1990) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for club VVV-Venlo. He formerly played for Fortuna Sittard. Career Janssen was born in Venlo, Netherlands, and began his football career at Venlosche Boys, his hometown club. Roel Buikema (born 22 March 1976 in Amsterdam) is a retired Dutch footballer who played as a midfielder for MVV, Helmond Sport, Heracles Almelo, Excelsior, FC Den Bosch and VVV-Venlo. Club career Buikema played for amateur side Quick in The Hague during his youth years. During his first season in professional football, 1996–97, he won the Eerste Divisie with MVV. Roelof Josephus "Roel" de Wit (31 March 1927 in Amsterdam – 3 June 2012 in Haarlem) was a Dutch politician of the Labour Party (PvdA) and a conservationist. De Wit studied biology at the University of Amsterdam. He became a member of the Provincial States of North Holland in 1958 and a member of the municipal council of Amsterdam in 1962. From 1965 to 1970 he was an alderman of Amsterdam. Roel de Vries (born 1943) is a former Dutch trade union leader. Born in Steenwijk, de Vries became a carpenter, and joined the General Industrial Union of Cabinetmakers and Woodworkers, becoming a leading figure in its youth work. In 1967, he moved to Amsterdam to become an administrator for the union, which in 1970 became part of the General Dutch Union of Building and Wood Industries. He was steadily promoted, becoming district administrator in Goes, and then winning election to the union's executive in 1980. In 1982, de Vries' union became part of the new Construction and Wood Union. He was elected as its vice-president in 1986, in which role he successfully negotiated a new collective agreement for the construction industry. In 1993, he became president. Roeland Hugo Gerrit (Roel) van Duijn (born 20 January 1943) is a Dutch politician, political activist and writer. He was a founder of Provo and the Kabouterbeweging. He was alderman for the Political Party of Radicals and later wardcouncillor for the GreenLeft. Biography Van Duijn was born into a theosophical family in the Hague.
