Rodney Davies
Rodney Davies (born 18 May 1989) is an Australian international rugby union footballer who plays for the Western Force. He previously played six seasons for the Queensland Reds in the Super Rugby competition. Davies has represented Australia in both fifteen-a-side and seven-a-side rugby. He is also a former rugby league footballer. Early life Davies attended Ipswich Grammar School, the same school former Reds teammate Berrick Barnes attended. Davies can run 100m in 10.8 seconds. In 2006 he toured New Zealand and Fiji with the Australian Schoolboys. As an 18-year-old, he said he preferred to play full-back in union, yet expected to play in rugby league. In 2007, his first senior year of rugby league, Davies topped his team's try-scoring list in the Queensland Cup. Rod Davies
Rodney Deane Davies CBE FRS (8 January 1930 – 8 November 2015) was a Professor of Radio Astronomy at the University of Manchester. He was the President of the Royal Astronomical Society in 1987–1989, and the Director of Jodrell Bank Observatory in 1988–97. He is best known for his research on the Cosmic microwave background and the 21cm line. Personal life Davies was born on 8 January 1930 into a family of farmers in Balaklava, a village north of Adelaide, South Australia. His parents were Holbin and Rena Davies. He had three brothers. He met Beth, his wife, at the Student Christian Movement at the University of Adelaide. They married in 1953, and later that same year they moved to Cheshire, United Kingdom. "Breathe You in" is a song by German girl group Monrose. It was written by Thanh Bui, Rodney Mark Davies, and Gary Pinto and recorded by Monrose for their fourth studio album ''Ladylike'' (2010), while production was helmed by frequent collaborators Pete Kirtley as well as Andrew Murray and Christian Ballard from production duo Snowflakers. An uplifting piano-led ballad with minor contemporary R&B elements, "Breathe You In" is built upon a harp motif. Lyrically, it chronicles a woman's love for a man. Released as the album's third single on 3 December 2010, "Breathe You In" also served as the group's farewell single following the announcement of their disbandment on 25 November 2010.
