Rock N Roll Alibis
''Rock n Roll Alibis'' is the debut solo album by American alternative rock musician Chad I Ginsburg (CiG), best known as the guitarist and vocalist of the band CKY. Recorded at Ginsburg's home-based Studio CiG LA in Los Angeles, California, it was released on his own label Generation Overdone Records on July 7, 2015. All material on the album was written, performed, produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by Ginsburg ("Dead to You" credits two co-writers). Background Ginsburg started working on his first solo album after a failed attempt at reconciling with former CKY bandmate Deron Miller in early 2014. He worked on writing songs for the project for "nearly a year" and claimed that he ended up with enough material for multiple albums. Chad I Ginsburg
Chad I Ginsburg (born April 24, 1972), also credited as CiG, is an American musician, singer and record producer. He is best known as the guitarist, producer and current vocalist of West Chester-based band CKY, which he co-founded in 1998. Prior to CKY, Ginsburg performed in the rock band Rudy & Blitz, and in July 2015, released his debut solo album ''Rock n Roll Alibis''. Early life Ginsburg was born on April 24, 1972. He began playing guitar at the age of nine years, having previously played the drums. He won his first guitar from a radio station, and later bought an Ibanez guitar based on Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen's model, which he says was eventually broken by a friend and sold. Alternative Metal
Alternative metal (also known as alt-metal) is a genre of heavy metal music that combines heavy metal with influences from alternative rock and other genres not normally associated with metal. Hard Rock
Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. CKY (abbreviation of the band's original name Camp Kill Yourself) is an American rock band from West Chester, Pennsylvania. Formed in 1998 by vocalist and guitarist Deron Miller, guitarist Chad I Ginsburg and drummer Jess Margera, the group currently features Margera and Ginsburg with touring bassist Chris Weyh. CKY found initial recognition through its contributions to the ''CKY'' video series and '' Jackass'' TV series, both of which featured Margera's brother Bam. Deron John Miller is an American musician and songwriter. He is best known as the former lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of rock band CKY, which he co-founded in 1998. Other bands Miller fronts include the progressive metal band Foreign Objects, the melodic death metal band World Under Blood, the death metal band Malevolent Creation, and the metal band 96 Bitter Beings. Early life Miller has stated that his first musical influence, at the age of three years, was Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley. The ''Albuquerque Journal'' is the largest newspaper in the U.S. state of New Mexico. History The ''Golden Gate'' newspaper was founded in June 1880. In the fall of 1880, the owner of the ''Golden Gate'' died and Journal Publishing Company was created.
