Robotech (TV Series)
''Robotech'' is an animated television series created by Carl Macek for Harmony Gold USA. It aired in broadcast syndication from March 4 to June 28, 1985, comprising 85 episodes. Set over a four-decade period, the series follows three alien invasions of Earth prompted by humanity's discovery of an extraterrestrial scientific advancement known as Robotechnology. The series was developed by adapting three unrelated anime into a single story. Epic (genre)
Epic is a narrative genre characterised by its length, scope, and subject matter. The defining characteristics of the genre are mostly derived from its roots in ancient poetry (epic poems such as Homer's ''Iliad'' and ''Odyssey''). Mike Reynolds (actor)
Mike Reynolds (November 21, 1929 – July 2, 2022) was an American voice actor and writer. Career Reynolds had been a voice actor in animation and anime movies since 1973 until 2004, and had also been a screen actor in movies. His most distinctive acting characteristic was his gruff, gravely voice. He used his voice in the ''Power Rangers'' franchise until 2002. Two of his best-known roles are the voice of General Ivar in '' VR Troopers'', Captain Mutiny in '' Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy'', and Gennai from the American English dub of '' Digimon Adventure''. Reynolds also made an appearance on Larry David's show ''Curb Your Enthusiasm''. Death Reynolds died on July 2, 2022. He was cremated and his ashes were spread at sea. The Shadow Chronicles
''Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles'' is the 2006 animated sequel to the 1985 ''Robotech'' television series. It was released on DVD on February 6, 2007. The project was originally announced at Anime Expo by Harmony Gold USA on July 6, 2002 as an unnamed new animated series already under negotiation at a major network with a target date of 2004. Prior to this announcement in 1998, Harmony Gold USA had relinquished their rights to create a sequel based on the original Japanese series of which ''Robotech'' was based on. However, rights to produce a ''Robotech'' sequel using designs derived from ''Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross,'' and ''Genesis Climber MOSPEADA'' (and excluding ''Super Dimension Fortress Macross'') were restored just eight days prior to this announcement. The Sentinels
The Sentinels are two 90 metre tall residential tower blocks on Holloway Head in Birmingham, England. The two towers, called Clydesdale Tower and Cleveland Tower, are both 31 storeys tall and were part of a major regeneration and council home building scheme following World War II which in the 1960s and 1970s saw the construction of hundreds of tower blocks. Originally built and operated by the City of Birmingham, the buildings were part of a stock transfer from Birmingham local authority to Optima Community Association in 1999, and today the buildings are owned by Citizen housing association (itself an amalgamation of several West Midlands housing associations). "The Movie" is the fourteenth episode of the fourth season of the American television sitcom ''Seinfeld'' (and the 54th episode overall). It first aired on NBC in the United States on January 6, 1993. The episode revolves entirely around the characters' struggles to go to see a movie together. was a Japanese animation design studio formed in 1978. It went bankrupt and was liquidated in 1997. AIC RIGHTS now holds the intellectual property of most of Artmic's titles. Harmony Gold USA, Inc. is an American film and television production company. It was founded in 1983 by Egyptian-born Frank Agrama and is managed by his daughter, Jehan F. Agrama. In 1976, Agrama sold broadcast rights from Paramount Pictures to the Mediaset media conglomerate. It is best known as the distributor of the '' Shaka Zulu'' miniseries and for various anime series, notably ''Robotech''.
