Robina () is a suburb in the City of Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. In the , Robina had a population of 23,106 people. Robina is one of the first master-planned residential communities in Australia. During its construction it was the largest master-planned community in Australia. Geography The Robina Town Centre shopping centre, Bond University, Robina Stadium and Robina Branch Library are located in Robina. History In 1980, Singaporean real estate developer, Robin Loh, and local property developer, Arthur Earle, purchased of land in the southern Gold Coast, west of Broadbeach. The acquired land, which had previously been used for grazing, would become the suburb of Robina. Moshe Safdie ( he, משה ספדיה; born July 14, 1938) is an architect, urban planner, educator, theorist, and author, with Israeli, Canadian, and American citizenship. He is known for incorporating principles of socially responsible design in his 50-year career. In agriculture, grazing is a method of animal husbandry whereby domestic livestock are allowed outdoors to roam around and consume wild vegetations in order to convert the otherwise indigestible (by human gut) cellulose within grass and other forages into meat, milk, wool and other animal products, often on land unsuitable for arable farming. Broadbeach is a suburb in the City of Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. In the , Broadbeach had a population of 5,514 people. Robin SK Loh (; 1928/29 – 28 August 2010) was a Singaporean businessman and real estate developer. Loh was best known in Australia as the founder of Robina, Queensland, a suburban town on the Gold Coast of Queensland. Robina, which turned 30 in 2010, is considered one of Australia's most successful planned communities. He was also credited as a leading businessman during Singapore's industrialization. Education Loh obtained a Master of Arts in Asian political science in 1995 and subsequently a doctorate from University of California, Berkeley. Robina Stadium
Robina Stadium, also known by its sponsored name Cbus Super Stadium, is a rectangular football stadium in the Gold Coast suburb of Robina, Queensland. The main usage is as the home ground to the National Rugby League's Gold Coast Titans; this venue sometimes hosts the A-League team Brisbane Roar FC. Robina Stadium is also used for Rugby Union, Soccer, Rugby Sevens, Rugby league Test Matches and has hosted Rugby league World Cup matches.
