Robert Wolfe (1921–2014) was a senior archivist of the US National Archives and expert on captured German war documents. Robert Wolfe
Robert Wolfe (March 2, 1921 – December 10, 2014) was a World War II U.S. Army officer, historian, and retired senior archivist of the US National Archives. He was wounded in both the Pacific and European Theaters of Operation. He commanded a recon team and also an anti-landmine platoon. He was a subject-matter expert on captured Nazi war documents. Wolfe worked for 34 years at the Archives, functioning as its senior specialist for captured German and related records. Military career Wolfe received head wounds in both theaters. While recovering from his first wound, he served in a training cadre in Ohio. After receiving his second head wound in France, he was assigned to the Office of Military Censorship in Paris, France. After the end of the European war, he joined the Office of Military Government in Heidelberg, Germany. At first his duties were with the prosecutors' office for the Nuremberg War Crimes trials. Robert Wolfe (November 24, 1946 – March 19, 2023) was an American football coach. He served as the head coach at Allegheny College (1984–1985), Tiffin University (1990–1997), and Hiram College (2007–2009), compiling a career college football record of 46–88–3. Robert Hewitt Wolfe (born 1964 in Waterbury, Connecticut) is an American television producer and screenwriter. He is best known for his work as a writer on ''Star Trek: Deep Space Nine'' and for developing and producing the series '' Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda''. Early life Wolfe was a writer from an early age. He attempted but did not complete several novels between the ages of ten and twenty. He turned to film and television writing in college. Wolfe graduated from UCLA, receiving a bachelor's degree in Film and Television and a MFA in Screenwriting. His first screenplay, ''Paper Dragons'', placed second in the prestigious Goldwyn awards.
