Robert Yelverton Tyrrell
Robert Yelverton Tyrrell, FBA (January 21, 1844 – September 19, 1914) was an Irish classical scholar who was Regius Professor of Greek at Trinity College, Dublin. Biography He was educated at Trinity College where he subsequently became a fellow in 1868 and professor of Latin in 1871. From 1869 he became the first editor of the literary magazine ''Kottabos (journal), Kottabos''. He also founded the "more solemn academic journal" ''Hermathena (journal), Hermathena'' in 1873. (for see alsodigital copyat Internet Archive). Jeffares incorrectly gives 1874 as the first year of ''Hermathena''. From 1880 to 1898, he was Regius professor of Greek, and from 1900 to 1904 professor of ancient history. He was a Commissioner of Education for Ireland and one of the original fellows of the British Academy. Bob Tyrrell (born November 4, 1962) is an American tattoo artist. He is known for his black-and-gray tattooing style. Biography Bob Tyrrell was born on November 4, 1962 in Detroit, Michigan. His father was an artist. He began tattooing in his early 30s. He apprenticed at Eternal Tattoos, a tattoo shop in Michigan. He has been featured in ''LA Ink'' and ''London Ink''. He became known for tattooing Kid Rock's back. In 2012, he participated as a jury member in the first Chaudesaigues Award, an award that recognizes the career and artwork of tattoo artists.
