Robert MacLean
Robert J. MacLean (born March 8, 1970, in Torrejon Air Base, Spain) is a former United States Federal Air Marshal and whistleblower. Early career MacLean served in the U.S. Air Force from 1988 to 1992. After his discharge, MacLean entered the United States Border Patrol as a border patrol agent. MacLean was recruited by the Federal Aviation Administration's Federal Air Marshal program immediately after the September 11 attacks. MacLean was in the first air marshal class to graduate after the September 11, 2001 attacks. After subsequently hiring a significant number of new air marshals, the FAA program was moved under the new Department of Homeland Security's Transportation Security Administration and called the Federal Air Marshal Service (FAMS). Robin "Rob" MacLean (born 1958 in Invergordon) is a Scottish television presenter, football commentator and sports writer. He currently works for BBC Scotland and TNT_Sports_(United_Kingdom), TNT Sports. MacLean began his career with the Highland News Group in Inverness before working for an Aberdeen news agency between 1979 and 1981. He then worked at Northsound Radio for six years before joining BBC Scotland's flagship evening news programme ''Reporting Scotland'' in 1986. After two years with ''Reporting Scotland'' he left to join STV (TV network), STV rivals ''Scotland Today'' in 1988. MacLean returned to BBC Scotland in 1990 where he worked as a presenter for both ''Reporting Scotland'' and ''Sportscene''. Charles Douglas MacLean (January 10, 1890 – July 9, 1967) was an American stage and silent film actor who later worked as a producer and screenwriter in the sound era. Early life and stage career Born in Philadelphia, MacLean was educated at Northwestern University and Lewis Institute of Technology, in Chicago. Robert McLean (footballer)
Robert Craig McLean (17 February 1879 – 24 October 1936) was a Scottish professional footballer. After initially playing in Scotland, McLean moved to Millwall in 1904 and later joined Newcastle United and finally Southampton, before returning to his home country to finish his playing career. He played primarily as a half-back. Career Robert McLean was born in Bonhill (today in West Dunbartonshire) and played his first football with junior club Rutherglen Glencairn, and Vale of Leven — at that point competing outwith the Scottish Football League. In August 1904 he moved to England to join Southern League side Millwall, and after one season joined First Division club Newcastle United, where he found himself "way down the pecking order".
