Robert Glass (December 4, 1939 – July 21, 1993) was an American sound engineer. He won an Academy Award for Best Sound and was nominated for five more in the same category. He has worked on many films since 1976. Barre ( ) is a New England town, town in Washington County, Vermont, Washington County, Vermont, United States. The population was 7,923 at the 2020 census, making it the 3rd largest municipality in Washington County, Vermont, Washington County and the 16th largest municipality in Vermont. Los Feliz (; Spanish for "The Féliz (family)", ) is a hillside neighborhood in the greater Hollywood area of Los Angeles, California, abutting Hollywood and encompassing part of the Santa Monica Mountains. The Academy Award for Best Sound is an Academy Award that recognizes the finest sound mixing, recording, sound design, and sound editing. The award used to go to the studio sound departments until a rule change in 1969 said it should be awarded to the specific technicians, the first of which were Murray Spivack and Jack Solomon for '' Hello, Dolly!''.
