Robert Farmer (ice Hockey)
Robert Farmer (born 21 March 1991) is a British ice hockey player for Whitley Warriors in the UK National Ice Hockey League, NIHL 1 and the Great Britain men's national ice hockey team, British national team. Farmer previously played for Nottingham Panthers. Career Farmer represented Great Britain at the 2019 IIHF World Championship. In July 2019, he embarked on his second spell abroad by signing for Lausitzer Füchse of the DEL2, reuniting with his former Nottingham head coach Corey Neilson and GB teammate Mike Hammond (ice hockey), Mike Hammond. In 2021, Farmer agreed to join Whitley Warriors for the 2021–22 season. Long Eaton
Long Eaton is a town in the Erewash district of Derbyshire, England, just north of the River Trent, about south-west of Nottingham and some 8½ miles (13.7 km) south-east of Derby. The town population was 37,760 at the 2011 census. It has been part of Erewash borough since 1 April 1974, when Long Eaton Urban District was disbanded. Geography Long Eaton lies in Derbyshire, across the border of Nottinghamshire and close to Leicestershire. It is covered by the Nottingham post town and has a Nottingham telephone area code (0115). Mike Hammond (ice Hockey)
Michael Hammond (21 February 1990 – 19 July 2023) was a British professional ice hockey centre. Between 2015 and 2023, he played for 10 teams across the ECHL, Elite Ice Hockey League, DEL2, Metal Ligaen, and Oberliga. Hammond was also a member of the Great Britain men's national ice hockey team. Early life Hammond was born on 21 February 1990 in Brighton, England. As a child, Hammond and his family moved to Canada, where he played minor ice hockey with the Juan de Fuca Orcas. Career Junior Hammond began playing junior ice hockey with the Victoria Cougars of the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League (VIJHL). With 98 points in 48 regular season games, Hammond led the VIJHL in scoring during the 2005-06 season and took the Cougars to a championship title. Braehead ( sco, Braeheid, Gaelic: ''Ceann a' Bhruthaich'') is a commercial development located at the former site of Braehead Power Station in Renfrew on the south bank of the River Clyde in Renfrew, Renfrewshire.
