The Robert Award for Best Score (; previously called ''Robert Prisen for årets musik'', Lit.:The Robert Award for music of the year) is one of the merit awards presented by the Danish Film Academy at the annual Robert Awards ceremony. The award has been handed out every year since 1984, except 1988. Danish Film Academy
The Danish Film Academy () is a Danish organisation the promotes the film industry. The Danish Film Academy was founded in 1982 by a number of people with professional connection to the film industry. The Academy aims to promote film as an Independent film, independent art form, and its members are primarily people who work with film. The Academy's largest annual event is the Robert Award ceremony. Jacob Neiiendam, former head of programming at Copenhagen International Film Festival from 2005 to 2007, Nordic correspondent for ''Screen International, Screen'' from 1999 until 2005, and founder-director of the CPH PIX film festival (2008-2018), became chair of the academy before or during 2018. ''Let's Get Lost'' is a 1997 Danish film written and directed by Jonas Elmer and produced by Per Holst. The film is an improvisational slice-of-life comedy shot in black and white. The film earned the 1998 Bodil Award for Best Danish Film and shared the Robert Award for Best Danish Film with '' Barbara''. Plot Julie has been abandoned by her boyfriend and seeks revenge. ''The Biggest Heroes'' () is a 1996 Danish comedy road film directed by Thomas Vinterberg. It was Vinterberg's debut feature film. Synopsis Karsten, a bank robber on probation, gets the surprise of his life when one of his exes, Lisbeth, shows up out of the blue and announces that he has a twelve-year-old daughter, Louise, and that he must take care of her. Her stepfather, Allan, is abusive and she can no longer stay with him. Karsten, his partner-in-crime Peter, and Louise flee to Sweden as Karsten's probation has expired. Allan goes in pursuit of the girl. In Sweden, Karsten's plan is to hole up with another old flame, Pernille, who lives in the north with her friend Eve. The Kingdom (TV Miniseries)
''Riget'' ( English title: ''The Kingdom'') is a Danish absurdist supernatural horror miniseries trilogy created by Lars von Trier and Tómas Gislason. Set in the neurosurgical ward of Copenhagen's Rigshospitalet (, nicknamed "Riget", ), each episode of the show follows the hospital's eccentric staff and patients as they encounter bizarre and sometimes supernatural phenomena. The series is notable for its wry humor, its muted sepia colour scheme, and the appearance of a chorus of dishwashers with Down syndrome, who discuss in intimate detail the strange occurrences in the hospital. The main theme's song was written by von Trier himself. ''Jungledyret Hugo'' (Danish for "Hugo the Jungle Animal") is a Danish media franchise created by Flemming Quist Møller based on a lullaby he wrote for his son, and was later turned into a full-length animated feature, produced at A. Anders Koppel
Anders Koppel (born 17 July 1947 in Copenhagen) is a co-founder in 1967 of the rock group Savage Rose. From 1976 to 2012 he was a member of the trio Bazaar. He plays in the trio Koppel-Andersen-Koppel which includes his son, saxophone player Benjamin Koppel, founder of the record label Cowbell and former music director of Jazzhus Montmartre. Anders Koppel has twice received the Danish film award Robert for best film score (1994 and 1996). His first daughter Sara Koppel is an animator and artist, and the second daughter Marie Carmen Koppel is a gospel, soul, and jazz singer. Koppel has composed music for eight ballets for the New Danish Dance Theatre and music for more than 150 movies, 50 theatrical plays and three musicals.
