Rob'n'Raz
Rob'n'Raz were a Swedish people, Swedish music duet (music), duo of Robert Wåtz and Rasmus Lindwall. After some years of DJing in the late 1980s, they decided to start performing and composing together. They worked on record producer, production, remixing and scratching. For a time, Lindwall was the first choice when a Sweden, Swedish sound recording and reproduction, recording demanded a scratch. Leila K and Papa Dee were among the vocalists and rappers during the first years when the Gramophone record, records were released by Swemix. They had two record chart, chart appearances in the UK Singles Chart with "Got to Get" (1989, #8) and "Rok the Nation" (1990, #41). In 1990, they released the album ''Rob'n'Raz featuring Leila K'', which included those two songs. Remixes were produced with Just D and Christer Sandelin. "Got to Get" is a song by Swedish electronic dance music duo Rob'n'Raz featuring singer-songwriter and rapper Leila K. Released in 1989 as her debut single, it was also the lead single from their only album together, ''Rob'n'Raz featuring Leila K'' (1990). It was successful in Europe, reaching the top 10 in at least nine countries, including the UK, where it peaked at number eight in January 1990. The song also charted in the United States, Canada and Australia. Two different music videos were made to accompany it. Background Leila K was discovered by Rob'n'Raz when singing in a music contest. "Rok the Nation" is a song by Swedish electronic music duo Rob'n'Raz featuring rapper Leila K, released in March 1990 by BMG as the second single from their debut album, '' Rob'n'Raz feat. David Seisay (aka MC Stranger aka D-Flex) is a Swedish-American songwriter, musician and entrepreneur who became known as a rapper in Rob'n'Raz but is also known for his career as a personal trainer. He is the founder and CEO of D-Flex House of Fitness, a company that provides health and wellness services. Laila El Khalifi (; born 6 September 1971) better known by her stage name Leila K, is a Swedish Eurodance singer and rapper of Moroccan descent. Early life El Khalifi's parents decided to send her to a school in Morocco, but she did not fit into the system so after one year she returned to Sweden. David Christopher Daniel Wahlgren (born 13 July 1966), better known by the stage name Papa Dee, is a Sweden, Swedish Rapping, rapper. His most commercially successful track is his version of the Cat Stevens song "The First Cut Is the Deepest#Papa Dee version, The First Cut Is the Deepest". Cheiron Studios () was a recording studio located in the Kungsholmen district of Stockholm, Sweden. Founded in 1992 by Denniz PoP and Tom Talomaa, it was known for being a place where popular music acts of the late 1990s/early 2000s, such as Backstreet Boys, Boyzone, Robyn, NSYNC, Britney Spears, and Westlife produced many of their greatest hits. In addition, Cheiron Studios was also a record label, Cheiron Records, affiliated with BMG for a while, and a music publishing service (Cheiron Songs), although those ventures were later abandoned in favour of music production. After Denniz PoP's death in 1998, Cheiron closed in 2000. Christer Eric Sandelin (born 5 November 1961) is a Swedish singer, songwriter and musician. He has been a part of two groups. In 1978, he was in the Swedish group Freestyle with Tommy Ekman, Joakim Hagleitner, Gigi Hamilton, Diane Söderholm and Anders Uddbergand, and after the break-up of the band in 1983, he continued with Ekman and Hamilton to form the Swedish band trio Style.
