Rix Robinson
Eduardo Rix Robinson (August 28, 1789 – January 12, 1875) was an American fur trader and politician. He was the first permanent Euro-American settler of Kent County, Michigan, a representative to the state constitutional convention of 1850 and a state senator. Early years Robinson was born August 28, 1789, in Richmond, Massachusetts. His parents were Edward and Eunice (Rix) Robinson of Preston, Connecticut. His father was a blacksmith and farmer. Raja (; from , IAST ') is a noble or royal Sanskrit title historically used by some Indian rulers and monarchs and highest-ranking nobles. Rix Centre
The Rix Centre is a British charitable research and development centre that was founded in 2004. The Centre, based at the University of East London, explores the uses of new media technology for the benefit of the learning disability community. It has developed multimedia technologies and courses to support those with learning disabilities and their careers. Reykjavik Internet Exchange (RIX) is an internet exchange point located in Reykjavík, Iceland, founded in 1999. It is operated by ISNIC, the same organisation that oversees the registration of Iceland's ccTLD, ' .is'. Its primary site, RIX-TG, is located at Tæknigarður (The Centre for Technical Innovation), part of the University of Iceland. As of 2022 it operates 2 other peering sites in addition to their original site: RIX-KT (Katrínartún) and RIX-MH (Múlastöð, Ármúli 25). It offers peering at port speeds of 1Gbps/10Gbps/100Gbps using a mix of Cisco and Juniper switch fabrics. RIX is currently Iceland's only neutral policy internet exchange and is a member of the European Internet Exchange Association, Euro-IX.
