Rita Ann Johnson (August 13, 1913Parish gives year of birth as 1912, but her grave marker says 1913. – October 31, 1965) was an American actress. Early years Johnson was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, the daughter of a single mother, Lillian Johnson. She worked as a waitress in her mother's lunchroom and sold hot dogs on the Boston-Worcester turnpike. She later attended the New England Conservatory of Music. Career Early in her career, Johnson was busy in radio. "By 1936 she... was appearing in ten radio shows a week." She played the leading role in '' Joyce Jordan, M.D.''. Johnson began acting on Broadway in 1935 and started her film career two years later. ''Out of Order'' is the fifteenth studio album by Rod Stewart, released in May 1988. It features the hit singles "Lost in You (Rod Stewart song), Lost in You", "Forever Young (Rod Stewart song), Forever Young", "My Heart Can't Tell You No", and "Crazy About Her". The album was produced by Stewart and members of The Power Station (band), The Power Station: guitarist Andy Taylor (guitarist), Andy Taylor (also a former member of Duran Duran), and bassist Bernard Edwards (formerly of Chic (band), Chic). Maya Angelou ( ; born Marguerite Annie Johnson; April 4, 1928 – May 28, 2014) was an American memoirist, poet, and civil rights activist. She published seven autobiographies, three books of essays, several books of poetry, and is credited with a list of plays, movies, and television shows spanning over 50 years. She received dozens of awards and more than 50 honorary degrees. Angelou's series of seven autobiographies focus on her childhood and early adult experiences.
