Rise (Taeyang Album)
''Rise'' is the second studio album by South Korean recording artist Taeyang, member of the boy group Big Bang. It is his first album in four years since ''Solar'' in 2010. ''Rise'' became the third highest charting K-pop album, and also the highest charting K-pop album by a Korean soloist on the ''Billboard'' 200 chart by debuting at number 112, number one on the ''Billboard'' World Albums Chart, number one on Heatseekers Albums Chart. The album also debuted at number one on the Gaon Album Chart. A Japanese edition of ''Rise'' was packaged as part of Taeyang's Japanese debut album, ''Rise + Solar & Hot'', on August 13, 2014. Boys Noize
Alexander Ridha (born 22 August 1982), better known by his stage name Boys Noize, is a German-Iraqi electronic music record producer, songwriter and DJ known for collaborations with artists including A$AP Rocky, Tommy Cash, and Frank Ocean (for example, producing Ocean's song "DHL") and remixes of artists including Daft Punk, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Snoop Dogg and Depeche Mode. In 2005, Ridha established his label, Boysnoize Records, and in 2025 launched a new concept label, Ones and Zeroes. With Skrillex he formed the duo Dog Blood. ''M Countdown'' () is a South Korean music program broadcast by Mnet from the CJ E&M Center Studio in Sangam-dong, Mapo District, Seoul. It features appearances by popular music artists who also perform live on stage. First hosted by Leeteuk, Shindong, and Kangin of Super Junior, the show has had various celebrity emcees through the years. As of March 2025, ''M Countdown'' is hosted by Sung Han-bin of Zerobaseone and Myung Jae-hyun of BoyNextDoor. Broadcast ''M Countdown'' airs live on domestic television at 6PM KST every Thursday. YGEX is a Japanese record label. A subsidiary of the Avex Group, it is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. It was founded on April 12, 2011 by Japanese record company Avex Group and South Korean entertainment company YG Entertainment, and this is the first time that Korean entertainment company has established a record label in Japan.
