Rick Green (comedian)
Richard Green (born November 4, 1953) is a Canadian comedy writer, producer, director and performer. He is most well known as co-creator of '' The Red Green Show'', creator of ''ADD & Loving It?!'', creator of '' History Bites'', founder of ''Rick Wants to Know'', and co-founder of comedy troupe The Frantics. Green also hosted '' Prisoners of Gravity'' on TVOntario. Profiles Green has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo. His first job was as a demonstrator at the Ontario Science Centre, where he worked as a presenter from 1975 until 1979. In 1979, Green helped found the Toronto-based comedy troupe The Frantics. In 2009 Green wrote and directed a documentary called ''ADD & Loving it?!'' The film, featuring fellow comedian Patrick McKenna, won a New York Festivals Silver World Medal for Best Medical Documentary and earned Green the CAMH Foundation Celebrity Transforming Lives Award for 2009. Rick Green (ice Hockey)
Richard Douglas Green (born February 20, 1956) is a Canadian former ice hockey defenceman. He won the 1986 Stanley Cup with the Montreal Canadiens. Biography As a youth, Green played in the 1968 and 1969 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournaments with minor ice hockey teams from Toronto. Green spent his junior career with the London Knights of the OHA, where he earned the Max Kaminsky Trophy for Most Outstanding Defenceman as selected by league general managers in 1976. Green was drafted first overall by the Washington Capitals in the 1976 NHL Amateur Draft. He was also drafted 10th overall by the Quebec Nordiques in the 1976 WHA Amateur Draft. In September 1982, after spending his first six seasons with the Washington Capitals, Green and Ryan Walter were traded to the Montreal Canadiens as part of a six-player blockbuster deal in exchange for Brian Engblom, Doug Jarvis, Rod Langway and Craig Laughlin. Rickey Green
Rickey Green (born August 18, 1954) is an American retired professional basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Green, a and point guard, led Chicago's Hirsch High School to the 1973 IHSA Class AA State championship. He then played college basketball for the Vincennes Trailblazers and Michigan Wolverines; at the latter school, his team lost to the undefeated Big Ten Conference rival Indiana Hoosiers in the championship game of the 1976 NCAA tournament. He then led the 1976–77 Wolverines to the Big Ten regular season championship, earning 1977 All-American recognition. Ricky Lee Green (December 27, 1960 – October 8, 1997) was an American serial killer who murdered at least four people in Texas between 1985 and 1986, at least two of which were killed with the help of his wife, Sharon. Convicted of all four murders and sentenced to death in one case, Green was executed at the Huntsville Unit in 1997. Early life Ricky Lee Green was born on December 27, 1960, in Fort Worth, Texas. He had several siblings. Together with his siblings, he was physically abused by his father, Bill Green, on an almost daily basis. The elder Green would apply shocks to their bodies, punch them in the stomachs or hold them underwater until they nearly drowned when they went on fishing trips.
