Richardson Family Murders
Three members of the Richardson family were murdered in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada in April 2006. Medicine Hat is a city in southeast Alberta, Canada. It is located along the South Saskatchewan River. It is approximately east of Lethbridge and southeast of Calgary. ''Deadly Women'' is an American true crime documentary television series produced by Beyond International Group and airing on the Investigation Discovery (ID) network. Lin Family Murders (Australia)
The Lin family murders occurred in North Epping in the northwestern suburbs of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, on 18 July 2009. The victims were newsagency proprietor Min Lin; his wife, Yun Lin; their sons, Henry and Terry; and Yun Lin's sister, Irene Lin. The family was bludgeoned to death. Min Lin's sister, Kathy, discovered the bodies. Jun "Brenda" Lin, 15, was the only surviving immediate family member after the incident; she was on a school trip in New Caledonia with Cheltenham Girls High School at the time. On 5 May 2011, Lian Bin "Robert" Xie – Kathy's husband – was arrested and charged with the murders. After several abandoned trials, a third trial ended in December 2015 with a hung jury. The Freeman family murders occurred in Salisbury Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania on February 26, 1995. Two brothers, 17-year-old Bryan Freeman and 16-year-old David Freeman, and their cousin, 18-year-old Nelson "Ben" Birdwell III, brutally murdered the brothers' parents, Brenda and Dennis, and 11-year-old younger brother, Erik, at their family home. For several years the brothers had been embracing neo-Nazi culture, though this had escalated in the months leading up to the killings, with them going so far as to tattoo Nazi slogans on their foreheads. The barbecue murders, also known as the BBQ murders, refers to a 1975 double murder in Marin County, California, United States. Business consultant James "Jim" Olive and his wife Naomi were murdered in their home by their 16-year-old adopted daughter Marlene Olive and her 20-year-old boyfriend Charles "Chuck" Riley, who then attempted to dispose of the bodies by burning them in a barbecue pit at a nearby campground.
