Richard Beck is an artist manager and former public relations man within the music industry. He runs Bigboy Management with a roster comprising RyanDan, 5ive, The Parlotones anEzra Vine He also presides over Supernova Entertainment Ltd, a live music and entertainment organisation. He has appeared on numerous TV shows and has been interviewed on the radio for his opinions. PR, Promotions & Live Touring Beck began his career in the music business in 1989 at the age of 17, working as an assistant engineer at the Basement Recording Studio in Wardour Street, London. After three months he was promoted to Studio Manager working across all sections of record production and administration. The One And Only (song)
"The One and Only" is the debut single by British singer and actor Chesney Hawkes. Written by Nik Kershaw, the single was released by Chrysalis Records in February 1991. Produced by Kershaw and Alan Shacklock, and recorded and mixed by Gareth Cousins, the song was featured in the 1991 film '' Buddy's Song'' which starred Hawkes as the eponymous Buddy and Roger Daltrey as his father. The film performed moderately well at the UK box office, but the song was a hit in that country's music charts, spending five weeks at number one on the UK Singles Chart in March and April 1991. Kershaw's influence can also be heard throughout the track not only in guitar style, but in the backing vocals on the intro and choruses, with Hawkes singing the verses. Party in the Park is the generic name given to music concerts organised by various radio stations and local authorities and groups in the United Kingdom, typically in large parks during the summer, however it is also used to refer to a family oriented event where people can literally have a Party in the Park. Capital London is a radio station owned and operated by the Global media company as part of its national Capital FM Network. As Capital Radio it was launched in the London area in 1973 as one of Britain's first two commercial radio stations. Its brief was to entertain, while its opposite number, London Broadcasting (LBC), was licensed to provide news and information. BBMak
BBMak are an English band consisting of Mark Barry, Christian Burns and Stephen McNally. Formed in Liverpool in 1996, they sold over three million albums worldwide between 1999 and 2003. The band first achieved success when their single " Back Here" gained popularity in radio stations in Asia and they later signed with Hollywood Records in the U.S. The band reworked their debut album '' Sooner or Later'' for an American release in 2000, and the album charted at number 38 on the ''Billboard'' 200 chart with "Back Here" becoming a top 20 hit.
