Ricardo Zamora De Grassa
Ricardo Zamora de Grassa (6 August 1933 – 31 January 2003) was a Spanish footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He played 162 games in La Liga for Atlético Madrid, Espanyol, Mallorca and Valencia. Zamora, also known as Ricardo Zamora II, was the son of international goalkeeper Ricardo Zamora. Club career Born in Madrid, Zamora began his career at Salamanca before moving to La Liga club Atlético de Madrid. After three seasons as a reserve at the club, he was signed by RCD Espanyol, while his father was managing the club. In order to avoid accusations of nepotism, he was loaned out to Segunda División club CD Málaga, after talks with Terrassa fell through, and after one season, he was loaned out again, this time to Sabadell, where he spent two seasons. Only in 1958-59 he debuted for Espanyol, but spent the season mainly as a reserve for José Vicente. After that season, he transferred to RCD Mallorca, where he won the Segunda División title. Terrassa Futbol Club is a Spanish football team based in Terrassa, Barcelona, in the autonomous community of Catalonia. The fourth Inter-Cities Fairs Cup was played over the 1961–62 season. There were five representative teams for some major European cities, three of which lost out in the first round. Inter-Cities Fairs Cup
The Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, most commonly referred to as the Fairs Cup and sometimes as the European Fairs Cup or Fairs Cities' Cup, was a European football competition played between 1955 and 1971. The Fairs Cup was the idea of FIFA vice-president and executive committee member Ernst Thommen, Italian Football Federation president and FIFA executive committee member Ottorino Barassi and English Football Association general secretary, Stanley Rous. As the name suggests, the competition was set up to promote international trade fairs. Friendly games were regularly held between teams from cities holding trade fairs and it was from these games that the competition evolved. Initially, the competition was only open to cities that hosted trade fairs, and where the cities' clubs finished in their national league had no relevance.
