Ricardo Miguel Moreira da Costa (; born 16 May 1981) is a Portuguese former professional Association football, footballer who played mainly as a Defender (association football)#Centre-back, central defender but occasionally as a Defender (association football)#Full-back, full-back. He is the current Manager (association football), manager of Liga Portugal 2 club C.D. Feirense, Feirense. After making his senior debut with FC Porto, Porto (where he was only a reserve) he went on to play in Germany, France, Spain, Qatar, Greece and Switzerland mainly spending several years with Valencia CF, Valencia in the third country. Over ten seasons, he amassed Primeira Liga totals of 165 matches and seven goals. Ricardo Valter da Costa (born 1 May 1981 in Goiânia) is a Brazilian football player, who currently plays for NK Graničar Novakovec in Croatia. Career Ricardo played for Atlético Goianiense before joined Zrinjski Mostar in summer 2003. In 2005 he trained with Hajduk Split for two months, but the transfer fell through. After that, Costa had a short spell with FC Metalurh Donetsk during the first half of the 2005-06 season. Ricardo Mion Varella Costa (born June 17, 1982) is a Brazilian footballer. His last team was Deportivo Saprissa, from Costa Rica where he played as a striker. Nowadays, his son Felipe follows his steps in the youth leagues in Brazil. Career He started his career in S.C. Corinthias Paulista. After he played in Paulista he was transferred to OSK in Sweden. After two and a half seasons, and over 50 matches for the club, he left for Spanish football, playing for C.D. Leganes. In the 2006–07 season he signed a contract with F.C.
