Rhyme
A rhyme is a repetition of similar sounds (usually the exact same phonemes) in the final Stress (linguistics), stressed syllables and any following syllables of two or more words. Most often, this kind of rhyming (''perfect rhyming'') is consciously used for a musical or aesthetic effect in the final position of Line (poetry), lines within poems or songs. More broadly, a rhyme may also variously refer to other types of similar sounds near the ends of two or more words. Furthermore, the word ''rhyme'' has come to be sometimes used as a pars pro toto, shorthand term for any brief poem, such as a nursery rhyme or Balliol rhyme. HTC Rhyme
The HTC Rhyme is a multi-touch, slate-format Android 2.3 smartphone designed and produced by HTC. The Rhyme was released in the United States exclusively by Verizon Wireless on September 22, 2011, with releases in Asia and Europe beginning in October 2011. The Rhyme is a mid-range smartphone, distinguished by its use of an updated HTC Sense 3.5 user experience, and a selection of bundled accessories; such as a charging dock, wireless speakers, and an LED "charm" that can be used as a notification light. While it was not explicitly marketed as such by HTC (who referred to it as a "lifestyle" phone), the Rhyme was primarily developed and targeted towards women. Paulie Rhyme
Paul Richardson, better known by his name Paulie Rhyme, is an American born, Japan based musician from Cleveland, Ohio. He is the founder of Browntown Wreckords. Paulie Rhyme is one half of the hip hop duo Public Radio, with producer deedot. He was also the lead vocalist of Finless Brown, Miles Outside, and Solganix. Previously, Paulie Rhyme was on Deep Thinka Records roster. Life and career In the early 2000s, Paulie Rhyme was a promoter in Cleveland, putting on emcee battles and local showcases. In 2001, Paulie Rhyme would join the alternative Hip Hop band Finless Brown and gain regional acclaim, releasing the Browntown Ep in 2003. A syllable is a basic unit of organization within a sequence of speech sounds, such as within a word, typically defined by linguists as a ''nucleus'' (most often a vowel) with optional sounds before or after that nucleus (''margins'', which are most often consonants). The Goons (The Goon Show)
''The Goon Show'' is a British radio comedy programme, originally produced and broadcast by the BBC Home Service from 1951 to 1960, with occasional repeats on the BBC Light Programme. The first series, broadcast from 28 May to 20 September 1951, was titled ''Crazy People''; subsequent series had the title ''The Goon Show''. The show's chief creator and main writer was Spike Milligan, who performed the series alongside Harry Secombe, Peter Sellers and (for the first two series) Michael Bentine. ''Il Canzoniere'' (; ), also known as the ''Rime Sparse'' (), but originally titled ' (, that is ''Fragments composed in vernacular''), is a collection of poems written in the Italian language by Francesco Petrarca, Petrarch. Though the majority of Petrarch's output was in Latin, the ''Canzoniere'' was written in the vernacular, a language of trade, despite Petrarch's view that Italian was less adequate for expression. Of its 366 poems, the vast majority are in sonnet form (317), though the sequence contains a number of canzone, canzoni (29), sestine (9), madrigal (poetry), madrigals (4), and ballate (7). Its central theme is the poet's love for Laura de Noves, Laura, a woman Petrarch allegedly met on April 6, 1327, in the Church of Sainte Claire in Avignon. Ryme Intrinseca
Ryme Intrinseca () is a village and civil parish in northwest Dorset, England, south of Yeovil and west of Yetminster. It is sited on a low ridge of cornbrash limestone on the edge of the Blackmore Vale. The Intrinseca part of the name derives from the existence of the manors of Long Bredy and Langton Herring in the south of the county which also went by the name Ryme; that Ryme was known as Ryme Extrinseca but the name has long fallen out of use. In the 2011 census the parish had a population of 115. The church at Ryme Intrinseca, which dates back to the 13th century, is dedicated to St. Hippolytus and there are only two churches dedicated as such in England: cf. St Ippolyts, a village on the southern edge of Hitchin in Hertfordshire.
