The 2021 ''Rey de Reyes'' (Spanish for "2021 King of Kings") was a professional wrestling tournament and supercard event produced by the Mexican Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) promotion. It was held on May 1, 2021 in San Pedro Cholula, Puebla, Mexico at an unannounced location. The event was originally scheduled to be held at the Poliforum Zamna in Merida, Yucatan on March 21, 2020. However, on March 13, AAA announced that they were postponing the 2020 ''Rey de Reyes'' show due to COVID-19 precautions. The 2021 event was the 24th ''Rey de Reyes'' show and tournament, the first since 2019. In the main event match, Psycho Clown and Pagano wrestled Chessman and the debuting Sam Adonis to a no contest. José Julio Pacheco Hernández (born February 7, 1986), better known by his ring name Pagano, is a Mexican ''luchador'', or professional wrestler working for the Mexican AAA promotion. He originally worked primarily in and around his hometown of Juárez, Chihuahua but in recent years has worked throughout Mexico on the Independent circuit before joining AAA in 2016. His ring name is Spanish for "Pagan". As Pagano, he primarily works a Hardcore wrestling style, which often includes the use of weapons and one or both wrestlers in the match bleeding profusely. Because of his preference for these types of matches, he has been given the nickname ''El Rey Extremo'' or "The Extreme King". Deonna Lynn Purrazzo (born June 10, 1994) is an American professional wrestler. She is signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Purrazzo began training in December 2012, and then started wrestling in various independent promotions the following year, eventually appearing in national companies TNA and ROH. Laredo Kid (born December 30, 1986) is a Mexican ''luchador enmascarado'', or masked professional wrestler. He is signed to both Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. The AAA Reina de Reinas Championship (literally "AAA Queen of Queens Championship", "AAA Women's Championship") is a singles women's professional wrestling championship promoted by Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). It is the only women's championship in AAA.
