''Revive'' (stylized as ''RE_vive'') is the first cover studio album by South Korean girl group, Brown Eyed Girls. It also serves as the group's seventh studio album and the group's first comeback album since ''Basic'' in 2015. The album released on October 28, 2019, under APOP Entertainment and distributed by Kakao M. The album contains covers of different Korean songs from the 80's, 90's, and modern period. Background Following the release of ''Basic'' in 2015, Brown Eyed Girls took an unofficial four year hiatus, which the member Gain cited was due to her taking a personal leave from the group in order to be with family and take vocal lessons to expand her role in the group from dancing. Member JeA also moved to Jeju island while Miyro continued to be active on YouTube. Narsha left APOP Entertainment in 2018, also stating that she would continue being a member of Brown Eyed Girls. Brown Eyed Girls (; ) is a South Korean girl group. The group is composed of four members: JeA, Miryo, Narsha, and Gain (singer), Gain. Lee Yoon-sang (; born 11 May 1968), known professionally as Yoon Sang, is a South Korean composer, record producer, singer and songwriter. He currently serves as a contemporary music professor at Sungshin Women's University. Music career Lee began his musical career as a bassist in a band supporting pop singer Kim Wan-sun. Uhm Jung-hwa (; born August 17, 1969) is a South Korean singer, actress and dancer. Uhm is considered to be one of the most influential women in the Korean entertainment industry, finding success in both music and film. Kim Hyun-jung (, born April 4, 1976) is a South Korean pop singer. Well known as the "Long-legged singer", and with the experience of performing in a heavy metal band, Kim made her debut as a female solo singer with the dance-infused album ''Legend''. The song "Breakup with Her" was a fast-tempo song with strong beats that shot Kim quickly to the top. The song "Lonely Love" was also a great hit. Since her debut, Kim Hyun-jung has succeeded in releasing great songs, usually dance numbers. Sim Min-kyung (; born July 11, 1955), known professionally as Sim Soo-bong (), is a South Korean singer. When she was a senior at Myongji University, she debuted in 1978 through MBC College Song Contest () at which she performed her self-composed song "Geuddae Geu Saram" (). Yoo Gun-hyung (; born February 14, 1979) is a South Korean record producer. He was credited with production on PSY's 2012 single "Gangnam Style". Biography Yoo Gun-Hyung was introduced to the world of K-pop in 1996 as one-half (along with Suh Jung-Hwan) of the Korean hip hop duo ''Untitle.'' Yoo and Suh were both still in high school, and gained particular recognition in the Korean music industry because they were already writing their own songs.
