Reva, Belgrade
Reva () is an urban neighborhood of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It is a sub-neighborhood of Krnjača and is located in Belgrade's municipality of Palilula. According to the 2011 census, it had a population of 2,522. Location Reva is located in the Banat section of the municipality of Palilula. It is situated between the Krnjača's sub-neighborhoods Blok Zaga Malivuk and Janko Lisjak on the west and Blok Braća Marić on the southwest, Ovča on the north, Pančevo on the east and the Danube on the south. It mostly stretches along the road of ''Pančevački put'', which connects Belgrade to the town of Pančevo in the east. It occupies the entire eastern section of Krnjača, larger in territory than the western sections (Dunavski Venac and Kotež), but much less populated. Elke Reva Sudin (born 1987) is an American painter, illustrator, fashion designer, and lecturer. In 2010, her ''Hipsters and Hassids'' painting series premiered in New York City, comparing and contrasting the Hasidic Jewish and hipster Brooklyn cultures. The REVA Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) is a mine-protected vehicle. It is produced by Integrated Convoy Protection. The vehicle’s v-hull, V-shaped hull offers protection against land mines and Improvised Explosive Devices (IED)s. The vehicle has space for at least 10 passengers. Ten firing ports are also available. Two light machine guns can be used and cover a 360-degree on roller bearing turret hatches. The vehicle is often confused with the Mamba APC, Mamba and the RG-31. The REVA''i'', known as G-Wiz in the United Kingdom, is a small micro electric car, made by the Indian manufacturer Reva Electric Car Company between 2001 and 2012. By late 2013 Reva had sold about 4,600 vehicles worldwide, in 26 countries. Sales in the United Kingdom, its main market, ended by the end of 2011. Production ended in 2012 and the REVAi was replaced by the Mahindra e2o.
