Responsibility For The September 11 Attacks
At around 9:30pm on September 11, 2001, George Tenet, director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), told President George W. George Tenet
George John Tenet (born January 5, 1953) is an American intelligence official and academic who served as the Director of Central Intelligence (DCI) for the United States Central Intelligence Agency, as well as a Distinguished Professor in the Practice of Diplomacy at Georgetown University. Tenet held the position as the DCI from July 1997 to July 2004, making him the second-longest-serving director in the agency's history—behind Allen Welsh Dulles—as well as one of the few DCIs to serve under two President of the United States, U.S. presidents of opposing Political party, political parties. Jeremy Logan Glick (September 3, 1970 – September 11, 2001) was an American passenger on board United Airlines Flight 93, which was hijacked and crashed as part of the September 11 attacks. Aware of the earlier attacks at the World Trade Center, Glick and some of his fellow passengers attempted to foil the hijacking. Majed Moqed
Majed Moqed (; 18 June 197711 September 2001) was a Saudi terrorist hijacker affiliated with al-Qaeda. He hijacked American Airlines Flight 77 and was one of the five hijackers who crashed the Boeing 757 into the Pentagon as part of the September 11 attacks. Moqed studied law at a college in Saudi Arabia before joining al-Qaeda in 1999. He was personally selected by Ramzi bin al-Shibh to participate in the 9/11 attacks. Hani Hanjour
Hani Salih Hasan Hanjour (; 30 August 197211 September 2001) was a Saudi terrorist who was the hijacker-pilot of American Airlines Flight 77, crashing the plane into the Pentagon as part of the September 11 attacks in 2001. Hanjour first went to the United States in 1991, enrolling at the University of Arizona, where he studied English for a few months before returning to Saudi Arabia early the next year. He returned to the United States in 1996, studying English in California before he began taking flying lessons in Florida and then Arizona.
