Renuka
Mahur Renuka, also known as Yellamma Devi, is a Hindu mother goddess venerated predominantly in the South Indian states of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Maharashtra. She is regarded as the mother of Parashurama, the sixth avatar of the god Vishnu. Originally named Renuka, she attained the status of a mother goddess in regional traditions, later becoming associated with the legend of Parashurama in Hindu mythology. Names Renuka is venerated under numerous regional appellations, including Aai Yellamma, Ekvira, Yamai, Ellai Amman, Padmakshi Renuka, Ucchangi Mariamma, and Ellai Amma Mahar. She is worshipped in the Hindu pantheon as a goddess associated with marginalized communities and is often regarded as the divine protector of the oppressed. Ramdhari Singh (23 September 1908 – 24 April 1974), known by his pen name Dinkar, was an Indian Hindi language poet, essayist, freedom fighter, patriot and academic. He emerged as a poet of rebellion as a consequence of his nationalist poetry written in the days before Indian independence. His poetry exuded ''Veer Rasa'' (heroic sentiment), and he has been hailed as a '' Rashtrakavi'' ('national poet') and ''Yuga-Chāraṇa'' (Charan of the Era) on account of his inspiring patriotic compositions. He was a regular poet of Hindi Kavi Sammelan and is hailed to be as popular and connected to poetry lovers for Hindi speakers as Pushkin for Russians. Renuka Sagara
Renuka Sagara, also known as Malaprabha reservoir and Navilutheertha reservoir, is a dam and impounding reservoir constructed across the Malaprabha River in the Krishna River basin. It is situated at Navilatirtha village in Savadatti Taluk Taluk of Belagavi district in North Karnataka, India. The dam is 43.13 metres high and has 4 vertical crest gates; it impounds a large reservoir with a gross surface area of 54.97 square kilometres, and storage capacity of 37.73 thousand million cubic feet. Renuka Sanctuary
The Renuka Sanctuary is a nature sanctuary. It is situated in Sirmour district in Himachal Pradesh and is connected to a network of roads. It covers about 4.028 square kilometres. Also known as Renuka Reserve Forest, it has been formally declared a sanctuary (). A further area of roughly about 3 square kilometres that lies outside the sanctuary has been declared as a buffer area. Renuka Menon (born 3 November 1983) is a former Indian actress who has predominantly appeared in Malayalam and Telugu-language films as well as some Tamil-language and Kannada films.
