Ross Rennie (born 29 March 1986 in Scotland) is a former rugby union player. He first played for Edinburgh Rugby and then Bristol Rugby as well as representing the Scotland national team. Rhoda Lillian Rennie (2 May 1905 in Benoni – 11 March 1963) was a South African freestyle swimmer who competed in the 1928 Summer Olympics. Nathan Rennie (born 31 May 1981) is an Australian professional downhill mountain bike racer. He started riding at the age of 5. He was junior downhill world champion in 1999 and won the bronze medal in the elite category at the 2006 world championships. Michael Rennie (born Eric Alexander Rennie; 25 August 1909 – 10 June 1971) was a British film, television and stage actor, who had leading roles in a number of Hollywood films, including his portrayal of the space visitor Klaatu in the science fiction film ''The Day the Earth Stood Still'' (1951). In a career spanning more than 30 years, Rennie appeared in more than 50 films and in several American television series. Under three years after leaving Hollywood, he journeyed to his mother's home in Harrogate, Yorkshire, following the death of his brother. Iain Robert Rennie (born 1964) is a New Zealand economist and senior public servant. He was State Services Commissioner from 2008 to 2016 and has been Secretary to the Treasury since November 2024. Early life and education Rennie has a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in economics from Victoria University of Wellington. Henry George Rennie (1 June 1873 – 17 March 1954) was a Scottish football goalkeeper who played for Morton, Heart of Midlothian, Hibernian, Rangers, Kilmarnock and the Scotland national team. Career Born in Greenock, Rennie started his career as a half-back with local Junior sides Volunteers, Bellgrove Ramblers and Greenock Junior West End.
