''Renegade'' is the debut single album by Hong Kong rapper Lucas, released on 1 April 2024, by SM Entertainment and distributed by Kakao Entertainment. The single album consists of three songs, including the lead single of the same name. ''Renegade'' charted in South Korea at number thirteen on the Circle Album Chart. Background and release In 2018, Lucas debuted as a member of South Korean boy band NCT, before joining the band's Chinese sub-unit WayV and debuting with the single album '' The Vision'' in 2019. Wong Yuk-hei ( zh, t=黃旭熙; born 25 January 1999), known professionally as Lucas (), is a Hong Kong rapper signed under SM Entertainment. He is a member of the supergroup SuperM, and a former member of the South Korean boy group NCT and its Chinese sub-unit WayV. He made his solo debut on 1 April 2024, with the single album '' Renegade''. Early life Lucas was born on 25 January 1999 in Sha Tin, Hong Kong, to a Chinese father with Teochew ancestry and a Thai mother. 4 (four) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 3 and preceding 5. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures. Founded in 2010, it is produced by the Korea Music Content Association and sponsored by South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
