''Relentless'' is an action thriller novel by Mark Greaney, published on February 16, 2021 by Berkley Books. It is the tenth book in the Gray Man series. The novel centers on efforts by the main character Court Gentry to find a missing NSA agent and later to stop a proxy war between Iran and the United States. It debuted at number four on ''The New York Times'' Best Seller list. Plot summary While recovering from a previous mission in Los Angeles, CIA contract agent Court Gentry is tasked by his boss Matthew Hanley with apprehending former NSA computer scientist Clark Drummond. Drummond had faked his death and is in hiding in Caracas, Venezuela under the protection of the local intelligence unit (SEBIN). Mark Greaney (novelist)
Mark Greaney (born October 25, 1967) is an American author who writes action thriller novels. He is best known for his Gray Man series of novels, which follow the adventures of assassin and CIA operative Court Gentry. Greaney is also known for co-authoring Tom Clancy’s final works and for continuing his Jack Ryan character and the Ryanverse after his death in 2013 and until 2017. Early life and education Born in Memphis, Tennessee, he is the son of Ed Greaney, a presence at WMC-TV Memphis for over 50 years and the namesake for the station's current newsroom. Greaney has degrees in political science and international relations, subjects which became major focuses of his writing career.
