Regional Darul Ifta' Of Bangsamoro
The Bangsamoro Darul Ifta' (BDI-BARMM) is an Islamic advisory council which has jurisdiction over the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. History The Regional Darul Ifta (RDI) of Bangsamoro was created during the existence of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. Then-ARMM Regional Governor Mujiv Hataman institutionalized Islamic jurisconsult in the region when he issued Executive Order 9, series of 2014 in September 2013 which created a transitional office of the jurisconsult that would oversee religious activities in ARMM as well as the propagation of Islam. The office was a temporary one with the Regional Legislative Assembly considering to establish a permanent jurisconsult body. The Muslim Mindanao Autonomy Act No. 323 signed by Governor Hataman in 2015 superseded Executive Order 9. Cotabato City
Cotabato City, officially the City of Cotabato (Maguindanao language, Maguindanaon: ''Kuta nu Kutawatu'', Jawi alphabet, Jawi: ; Cebuano language, Cebuano: ''Dakbayan sa Cotabato''; ), is a Cities of the Philippines#Legal classification, independent component city in the Bangsamoro, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, Philippines. Mujiv Hataman
Mujiv Sabbihi Hataman (born September 11, 1972) is a Filipino politician and indigenous people's rights advocate from the Yakan people of the Sulu Archipelago. He became nationally prominent when he served as the sixth and last regional governor of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) from 2011 until it was replaced by the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) in 2019. Since 2019, he has been serving as the representative of Basilan's lone district and was a House Deputy Speaker from 2019 to 2022. The ARMM Regional Assembly, also known as the ARMM Regional Legislative Assembly (), was the devolved unicameral regional legislature of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM). A fatwa (; ; ; ) is a legal ruling on a point of Islamic law (sharia) given by a qualified Islamic jurist ('' faqih'') in response to a question posed by a private individual, judge or government. Abuhuraira Udasan
Sheikh Abuhuraira Abdulrahman Udasan (March 3, 1942 – July 3, 2023) was a Filipino Muslim theologian who was the first grand mufti of the Bangsamoro Darul Ifta'. Early life and education Early years Abuhuraira Abdulrahman Udasan was born on March 3, 1942, in Kitango village of Dulawan, Cotabato (modern day Datu Piang, Maguindanao del Sur). Born to Udasan Gutem Montok and Sa'Diah Sambelen Abdulrahman, Abuhuraira grew up in a religious family learning about Islam from his father. He reportedly already memorized many chapters of the Quran by the time he was six years old.
