The Regional Council of Murcia was the governing body in the Region of Murcia in the pre-autonomous process. His mandate was from the end of 1978 until the creation of the Autonomous communities of Spain, autonomous community in 1983. Creation The Regional Council arises from Royal Decree-Law 30/1978, signed by King Juan Carlos I of Spain, Juan Carlos I on September 29, 1978. Created on November 10, 1978. It met for the first time on November 20, being officially established on the 24th. Antonio Pérez Crespo
Antonio Pérez Crespo (Murcia, June 16, 1929 - ''ibidem'', March 17, 2012) was a Spanish writer and politician. He was the first president of the Regional Council of Murcia, the pre-autonomous body of the Region of Murcia. He was also a deputy for the Union of the Democratic Centre (Spain), Democratic Center Union in the 1977 Spanish general election, 1977 elections and a senator in the 1979 Spanish general election, 1979 elections. Andrés Hernández Ros (July 30, 1948 – June 26, 2016) was a Spanish politician and member of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) from the Region of Murcia. Hernández served as the first President of the Region of Murcia from July 1982 until March 9, 1984, following the establishment of autonomy in 1982. Prior to autonomy, he held the office of President of Regional Council, the head of the pre-autonomous government of Murcia, from May 5, 1979, until July 1982. Totana is a municipality in the Region of Murcia in Spain. It has a population of 32008. The local economy is largely dependent on agriculture and related industries. It has a railway station providing a service on the Cercanías Murcia/Alicante commuter line, providing connections to Alicante and Murcia.
