Reginald Williams (MP)
Reginald Williams (died 1612) of Plas-y-Court, Willaston (now Wollaston, Shropshire, Wollaston), Shropshire, was an English politician. He was the eldest son of Thomas Williams of Willaston (High Sheriff of Montgomery, 1560), trained in the law at the Inner Temple in 1561, and called to the bar in 1571. He was escheator for Shropshire from February 1573 to January 1574 and appointed joint prothonotary for Flintshire and Denbighshire in 1579. He served as a Justice of the Peace, JP for Montgomeryshire by 1585 and for Shropshire from 1596. He was elected a Member of Parliament, Member of the Parliament of England for Preston (UK Parliament constituency), Preston in 1571 and Montgomeryshire (UK Parliament constituency), Montgomeryshire in 1593. He was appointed High Sheriff of Montgomeryshire for 1593–94. Reg Williams (priest)
Reginald Ottrey Williams (1914–2012) was Archdeacon of Rangiora from 1968 until 1979. He was educated at the University of New Zealand and ordained in 1941. After a curacy at Addington he was Priest in charge of Westland. He then held incumbencies at Lincoln, New Zealand, Lincoln, Addington, New Zealand, Addington and Linwood, New Zealand, Linwood before his appointment as archdeacon. He died on 31 July 2012. Reg Williams (rugby League)
Reg Williams was an Australian rugby league footballer who played in the 1920s and 1930s. He won 3 premierships with the South Sydney Rabbitohs as a winger. Playing career Williams was an Eastern Suburbs junior, but made his debut for South Sydney in 1926 against Newtown. That year, Williams was a member of the Souths side which defeated University in the 1926 grand final. Williams missed out on being in the 1927 premiership winning team, but returned the following year and scored a try in the 1928 grand final victory over Easts. Skilly Williams
Reginald George "Skilly" Williams (4 January 1890 – 19 June 1959) was an English association footballer. Born in Watford, he played primarily as a striker during his amateur career, but later switched to become a goalkeeper. After playing for Leavesden Mental Hospital's football team, as well as for Hertfordshire, Williams joined Watford as an amateur in 1910, turning professional in 1914. During his first season as a professional, Watford won the 1914–1915 Southern Football League title. League football was then interrupted for four seasons due to the First World War. He served as a private in the Norfolk Regiment and the Labour Corps during the conflict. Following the resumption of competitive football in 1919, Williams again played a part as Watford finished runners up to Portsmouth on goal average. Reginald Frederick "Reg" Williams (28 January 1922 – 6 October 2011) was an English professional footballer who played as a wing half. Club career Williams was named as Chelsea's oldest surviving player in February 2011. Personal life Williams' father, Reg "Skilly" Sr. was also a footballer, amassing almost 400 appearances for Watford.
