François de La Rochefoucauld, 2nd Duke of La Rochefoucauld, Prince de Marcillac (; ; 15 September 1613 – 17 March 1680) was an accomplished French French moralists, moralist of the era of French Classical literature and author of ''Maximes'' and ''Memoirs'', the only two works of his dense literary ''œuvre'' published. His ''Maximes'' portrays the callous nature of human conduct, with a cynical attitude towards putative virtue and avowals of affection, friendship, love, and loyalty. ''Reflections'' is the third solo album by the Grateful Dead's guitarist Jerry Garcia, released in February 1976. Partway through production, Garcia stopped recording with his solo band and brought in the members of the Grateful Dead, who performed on four songs, plus a bonus jam from 2004 release. Three of the four Grateful Dead-performed songs had earlier live debuts: "Comes a Time" (1971), "They Love Each Other" (1973) and "It Must Have Been the Roses" (1974); "Might as Well" entered their rotation in 1976, and "Mission in the Rain" received a select few performances that same year. Most of the songs entered the live rotation of the new Jerry Garcia Band as well. It includes four songs that were originally released as A-side singles, although only one was a Top 20 hit ("California Soul", #25; "Blowin' Away", #21; "Carpet Man", #29; "Workin' On a Groovy Thing", #20). Bell Records released Greatest Hits on Earth the following year, which would include The 5th Dimension's biggest hits from both current label Bell Records and prior label Soul City Records.
