Redevida
Redevida (stylized in upper case) is a Brazilian Catholic Church, Catholic television network headquartered in São José do Rio Preto, São Paulo (state), SP, covering 90% of the Brazilian territory through affiliated networks and satellite. It was founded on 1 May 1995. The channel is one of 16 commercial channels that is required for carriage on all satellite providers. History Background The idea of forming the Rede Vida de Televisão was born during the government of Brazilian president José Sarney. At the time, the dispute over channel 11 in São José do Rio Preto was great, and with the support of Augusto Marzagão, Sarney's advisor, João Monteiro de Barros Filho obtained the concession in 1991. In high-definition television (HDTV) and video display technology, 1080i is a video display format with 1080 lines of vertical resolution and Interlaced video, interlaced scanning method. This format was once a standard in HDTV. It was particularly used for broadcast television because it can deliver high-resolution images without needing excessive bandwidth. Aparecida is a Brazilian municipality in the state of São Paulo. It is located in the fertile valley of the River Paraíba do Sul on the southern (right) bank. Rede Aparecida (), also known as TV Aparecida or simply Aparecida is a Brazilian religious television channel based in the municipality of Aparecida in the state of São Paulo. History TV Aparecida was an initiative with support from the Catholic Church. The Foundation Our Lady of Aparecida, the sponsor of radio for Aparecida, won the award to broadcast on UHF channel 59 of Aparecida - SP which went live on September 8, 2005.
