''Ready'' is the third studio album by American R&B recording artist Trey Songz. It was released on August 31, 2009, by Troy Taylor record label Songbook, distributed by Atlantic Records. The album serves as the sequel to '' Trey Day'' (2007). Production for the album took place from 2008 to 2009, which was contributed by Songz's longtime collaborator and his mentor Troy Taylor, along with Bryan-Michael Cox, StarGate and Los da Mystro, among others. The album received generally positive reviews from critics, which positively compared ''Ready'' to the work of R. Kelly, but also was criticized for this album's inconsistency. Tremaine Aldon Neverson (born November 28, 1984), known professionally as Trey Songz, is an American Contemporary R&B, R&B singer and songwriter. After being discovered by record producer Troy Taylor (record producer), Troy Taylor in 2003, Songz signed to his record label, Songbook Entertainment, in a joint venture with Atlantic Records during that same year. His debut album, ''I Gotta Make It'' (2005), entered at number 20 on the Billboard 200, ''Billboard'' 200, while his second album, ''Trey Day'' (2007), peaked at number 11. "Say Aah" is a song by American singer Trey Songz featuring American rapper Fabolous. The track was written by the two along with Nate Walka, Ronald M. Ferebee, Jr., Tony Scales, and Don Correll, with the latter producing it with Troy Taylor and Young Yonny. It was released on January 12, 2010 as the fourth single from Songz's third studio effort, ''Ready'' (2009). The song has lyrical content referring to a night of drinking during a birthday celebration, with the title referencing the eponymous phrase said by doctors or dentists to denote a patient's oral treatment.
