RBD
RBD was a Mexican Latin pop group that gained popularity from Televisa's telenovela ''Rebelde'' (2004–2006). It was composed of Anahí, Dulce María, Maite Perroni, Alfonso Herrera, Christopher von Uckermann and Christian Chávez. The group achieved international success from 2004 until their separation in 2009 and sold over 15 million records worldwide, making them one of the List of best-selling Latin music artists, best-selling Latin music artists of all time. ''Celestial'' ( English: ''Heavenly'') is the third studio album by Mexican Latin pop vocal group RBD, released on November 23, 2006, in Mexico and on November 24, 2006 in the rest of Latin America and the United States. ''Rebels'' is the fourth studio album by Mexican pop group RBD, released on December 19, 2006. It is their first and only English album. The album contains songs from the group's previous studio albums that were translated into English for the release, as well as new songs that were recorded exclusively for the proyect. ''Rebels'' falls into the genres of Latin pop and pop rock, with dance-pop, reggaeton and R&B stylings, which were new music styles for the group. To promote the album, only two official singles were released. On September 22, 2006, the album's lead single, a cover of the ballad titled " Tu Amor", which was composed by Diane Warren was released. Christopher Alexander Luis Casillas von Uckermann (born 21 October 1986) is a Mexican singer and actor. He started his acting career when he was only two years old in TV commercials, and became known worldwide after his roles as Diego Bustamante in the soap opera ''Rebelde'' and Father Ramiro Ventura in the supernatural horror web series '' Diablero''. His father is from Tijuana, Mexico and his mother is from Stockholm, Sweden. His maternal grandparents are from Berlin, Germany. Alfonso Herrera Rodríguez (, born 28 August 1983) is a Mexican actor and singer. Born in Mexico City, Herrera made his television debut in ''Clase 406'' in 2002.
