Raven's Cry
''Raven's Cry'' is a 2015 action-adventure video game that interweaves fictional events and characters with historical ones from the 17th-century Caribbean. The game features historically accurate architecture and pirates. ''Raven's Cry'' follows the character of Christopher Raven, who was the only survivor of an attack by pirates and is now seeking vengeance. Upon release, the game was panned by critics, and considered one of the worst video games of 2015. An updated version of the game was released as ''Vendetta: Curse of Raven's Cry'' on 20 November 2015. Gameplay The story is divided into chapters. TopWare Interactive – AC Enterprises e.K. is a German video game publisher based in Karlsruhe. A ship of the line was a type of naval warship constructed during the Age of Sail from the 17th century to the mid-19th century. The ship of the line was designed for the naval tactics in the Age of Sail, naval tactic known as the line of battle, which involved the two columns of opposing warships manoeuvering to volley fire with the naval cannon, cannons along their Broadside (naval), broadsides. Metacritic is an American website that aggregates reviews of films, television shows, music albums, video games, and formerly books. For each product, the scores from each review are averaged (a weighted average). GameRankings was a video gaming review aggregator that was founded in 1999 and owned by CBS Interactive. It indexed over 315,000 articles relating to more than 14,500 video games. GameRankings was discontinued in December 2019, with its staff being merged with the similar aggregator Metacritic. Rankings GameRankings collected and linked to (but did not host) reviews from other websites and magazines and averages specific ones.
